ACB Gujarat nabs a police man in bribe case

Amdavad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Gujarat has nabbed the assistant head constable of Dholka rural police station in Ahmedabad district in a bribe case of Rs 25 thousand.
The complainant and his friends were registered as suspects for an offence at the Dholka countryside police station. The investigating officer had seized their vehicles and mobile phones. The accused assistant head constable, Arvind Fatubhai Patel, demanded a bribe of Rs 50 thousand to provide an opinion in court to return the three vehicles and mobiles to the complainant. After arguments, the bribe was reduced to Rs 25 thousand.
As the complainant was not willing to pay the bribe, he contacted ACB. During a trap executed by ACB, the accused was found taking a bribe of Rs 25,000 from the complainant. The accused has been detained. DeshGujarat
