Prabhas Patan: Union Home minister Amitbhai Shah today offered Pagh (turban) to Somnath Mahadev after the newly started Pagh puja ceremony at Somnath mandir here. Shah was joined by his wife and his granddaughter.

Shah during his visit launched the latest mobile application namely ‘Somnath Yatra’ that shall offer live darshan of Somnath mandir, Bhalka tirth and Ram mandir of Prabhas Patan. The app will also offer facilities like online puja registration, accommodation booking, details of various travel modes to Somnath, the latest updates and future event details, a photo gallery, e-library, e-mala, social activities, and more.

In the presence of Shah, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Shri Somnath Trust and the Urban health department to set up an Aarogyadha at the Swastik plaza complex in Somnath for pilgrims. DeshGujarat
