ACB nabs round forester of Nasvadi range in bribe case

Chhota Udaipur: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat Police has nabbed the round forester of Nasvadi range forest office in a bribe case involving the sum of Rs 5000.
The complainant buys timber from Sorat village and sells it. The accused round forester Maheshbhai Somabhai Bariya called him and alleged that the complainant was cutting wood without permission. Later, the accused asked the complainant to meet at Kalediya chokdi the next day but did not show up there. Instead, the accused demanded a bribe of Rs 5 thousand from him on a call on 18th March.
The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused was found taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. The accused is detained. DeshGujarat
