Raksha Shakti over bridge likely to be dedicated next month

Gandhinagar: The Raksha Shakti Overbridge is expected to be inaugurated in April 2023.
The construction of the overbridge at Raksha Shakti Circle (Dholakua Circle), at the cost of Rs. 52 crores, is nearing completion and is expected to finish by the end of March. The bridge is likely to be dedicated in the next 15 days. The bridge will be used by around 50,000 people daily for transportation once it is completed and opened.
The overbridge is 936 meters long, including the approach road, and features eight gaps of 35 meters each. It has six lanes and a width of 27 meters. There is a 350-meter-long approach road towards Ahmedabad and a 305-meter-long approach road towards Gandhinagar.
