Gujarat is likely to get relief from unseasonal rain after March 24

Gandhinagar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted further spells of unseasonal rains in parts of Gujarat till March 24th, after which Gujarat is likely to get relief from unseasonal rain.

According to the IMD bulletin, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind less than 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Anand, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, and Patan; in the districts of SaurashtraKutch namely Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Porbandar, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Dwarka and Kutch,” on March 23rd.

On March 24th, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind less than 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, and Patan, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Porbandar, Dwarka and Kutch.”
