Gandhinagar: Gujarat is hosting the second round of meetings, discussions, and programs related to the Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group (ECSWG) of G20, starting today in the state capital.

The first meeting started with G20 member countries sharing Best Practices on Water Resources Management. Deliberations are focused on an Integrated water management approach.

The conference is being attended by a total of 130 delegates from the G20 member countries, along with 11 invitee countries and 14 international organizations, for three days.

The further discussions will primarily revolve around key themes such as preventing land degradation, accelerating ecosystem restoration, and preserving biodiversity. Additionally, the conference will also focus on promoting resource efficiency, circular economy, and developing a sustainable and climate-resilient blue economy. DeshGujarat
