SG Highway in Ahmedabad to get another elevated corridor at a cost of over Rs. 530 crore

Gandhinagar: Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, in a tweet announced the construction of a new elevated corridor on the SG Highway in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Gadkari in a tweet stated that his department has given approval to an elevated corridor at National Highway(NH) 147 in Ahmedabad district in Gujarat, from ISKCON junction to Sanand flyover, at a cost of Rs. 530.20 crores.

 

The road stretch connects the Saurashtra region to State capital Gandhinagar and North Gujarat. The road stretch has presently several cross roads like Karnavati club crossroad, Prahladnagar cross road, and another cross road before YMCA club.

Gadkar in a series of tweets further announced approval to upgradation of a 2-lane carriageway from Jabugam village of Bodoli taluka to Dhamasiya village of Nasvadi taluka in Gujarat to a 4-lane carriageway on the existing NH 56 in Chhota Udepur and Narmada district, at a cost of Rs. 1188.48 crores under Hybrid Annuity Moda (package-III).
