CBI Inspector flees custody after being caught by ACB in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inspector fled from the custody of the CBI after allegedly being caught accepting a bribe by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Unit-1.
The accused CBI Inspector, Sandeep Kumar, is originally from Haryana and was stationed in the Gandhinagar Branch of the CBI. He is now considered an absconder, and Gujarat Police have issued an alert across the districts to apprehend him. He escaped from custody in a black-coloured Tata Nexon Atlas car with Registration number DL9C BA 5486.
The ACB team had set a trap based on specific intelligence inputs and with the help of the local police. DeshGujarat
