Unseasonal rain is expected to return to Gujarat from March 29: IMD

Gandhinagar: The weather department of the central government has forecasted the possibility of unseasonal rain in various parts of Gujarat from March 29th, Wednesday.
According to the IMD bulletin, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind less than 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of North Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Patan; in the districts of SaurashtraKutch namely Dwarka and Kutch” on 29th March.
On 30th March, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind less than 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of North Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmadabad and Aravalli; in the districts of Saurashtra-Kutch namely Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Dwarka, Morbi, Kutch. ”
On 31st March, “Light rain/thundershower very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadar & Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra-Kutch namely Gir Somnath and Diu.” DeshGujarat
