Amit Shah dedicates and lays foundation stone for Rs 56 crore projects in Mansa

Mansa: Union Home Minister Amit Shah virtually dedicated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 56 crore in Mansa municipality, in the presence of CM Bhupendra Patel.

“The central and state governments have completed development projects worth Rs 1182 crore in Mansa so far,” HM Shah stated. These projects include installing a new railway line, building 32 lakes, interlinking 12 lakes, beautifying Chandrasar lake, building a Shahid memorial, renovating the Kalimata Mandir in Ambod, constructing a four-lane highway from Mansa to Gandhinagar, Mahudi-Pundva, and Kalol-Mansa, and have improved the standard of living of residents, he added.

CM Patel announced that the interlinking of 13 lakes and a recharge borewell project, which cost over Rs 17 crore, and an underground gutter project, costing Rs 26 crore, had been initiated. Additionally, a sewage treatment plant built for over Rs 8 crore was dedicated.

The government has also begun constructing 75 Amrit Sarovars in each district. The beautification of Chandrasar lake, which will cost over Rs 4.75 crore, is part of this initiative. CM Patel added that the government had set aside Rs 1454 crore in the budget for Amrut 2.0.DeshGujarat
