Vadodara: One Jishanuddin Jahiruddin Shaikh has been accused of allegedly molesting a Hindu female at her home in Vadodara.

The 21-year-old female was a former co-worker of the accused Jishanuddin at a telecommunication company in Sayajigunj. They developed a friendship and began communicating on calls and social media, which eventually turned into an affair. However, the female ended the relationship due to her family’s disapproval and got engaged to another man on April 1st.

Upon learning about the engagement, the accused, Jishanuddin, became agitated and contacted the female, despite her objections. He arrived at her home on a bike with his two friends, Gulammustufa Izharbhai Diwan and another minor, who stood outside while Jishanuddin entered the female’s home. It is alleged that he molested the female by grabbing her hand. The Makarpura police were informed of the incident through the police control room and arrived at the scene. Jishanuddin and his two friends were subsequently arrested.

The accused allegedly gained entry into the female’s home after repeatedly ringing the doorbell, which she eventually answered. He had reportedly threatened to break her engagement and harm her fiancé if she did not continue their relationship. DeshGujarat
