Patidar outfit to take 3,500 senior citizens to Somnath and Dwarka on Tirth Yatra

Mehsana: 42 Leuva Patidar Yuva Sangathan here is organizing a 2-day tirtha-yatra for as many as  3500 senior citizens from 53 villages of Patan and Mehsana to Somnath and Dwarka.

The yatra will depart on 28th July 2023 at a charge of Rs. 200 per person, with a total of 80 sleeping luxury buses booked for the journey. Prof. Dr Dilip Patel stated that it will be the biggest collective tirth yatra of one community in Asia. The 42 Leuva Patidar Yuva Sangathan will also organise a Vadil Vandana program to honor senior citizens above the age of 75 years at Dwarka.

The yatra will depart in luxury buses at 7 am on 28th July and reach Somnath on 29th July. A dhwaja will be offered at Somnath, and the yatra will reach Dwarka in the evening. The dinner and night stay will be at Dwarka, and the darshan of Dwarkadhish will be done on 30th July morning. A team of 15 doctors and an ICU van will be available during the yatra, and around 500 volunteers, including females, will be present with Walkie Talkies. The organization has applied to get a position in India book and Limca Book of Record. The cost of the yatra will be around Rs. 70 lakhs, which will be covered by the donors.
