Crime Branch nabs self-styled ‘journalist’ for extortion in Ahmedabad

Maninagar: The Ahmedabad Crime Branch has apprehended a self-styled ‘journalist’ following an extortion complaint filed against him.
Ashish Kanjariya, who serves as the editor of Pol Khol TV, stands accused of demanding Rs. 10 lakhs from a private school director in Maninagar, by threatening him to shut down the institution if the demand was not met.
Upon apprehension, Ashish was found to be in an inebriated state, leading to the filing of an additional charge against him. The police are currently investigating the matter further. DeshGujarat
