20 Antelopes and Deer from South Africa arrive for Reliance’s Zoo in Jamnagar

Jamnagar: Twenty antelopes and deer arrived at Ahmedabad airport in a jumbo cargo airplane from South Africa for the Zoological Rescue and Rehabilitation Kingdom being developed in Lalpur, Jamnagar by Reliance Industries Limited.
Reliance Industries Ltd has started developing the world’s largest zoo, the Zoological Rescue and Rehabilitation Kingdom, which will be Gujarat’s first private zoo. It will span across 280 acres in Lalpur, Jamnagar.
On Thursday, 20 deers and antelopes arrived at Ahmedabad airport in 11 special boxes on a jumbo cargo airplane from South Africa for the zoo. In the past year, a total of 270 animals have arrived at the zoo, including 39 monkeys and chimpanzees that arrived on February 10th.
Another airplane carrying animals is expected to arrive at Ahmedabad airport on May 11th. The animals went through customs clearance at Ahmedabad airport before being transported to Jamnagar. DeshGujarat
