Sabarmati: One more police complaint has been filed against conman Kiran Patel and his wife Malini Patel. The latest complaint has been filed by Bharat Patel who owns a ceramic machinery factory in Morbi.

A resident of Jodhpur village of Morbi district, Bharat Patel also is a partner in a chemical factory. In the year 2017, he came into contact with Kiran Patel. According to the complaint, Kiran Patel introduced himself as a class-1 officer and boasted of having influence in the government. Bhara Patel wanted a license from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), for which he talked with Kiran Patel.

Kiran Patel called Bharat Patel to meet at Sola-based HCG hospital in Ahmedabad. Kiran and Malini Patel demanded Rs. 45 lahks around for completing the procedures of the GPCB license. Bharat Patel had given Rs. 42.86 lakh cash on this account. Bharat Patel promised to give the rest of the payment to Kiran after two months. However even after 8 months period lapsed, Bharatbhai didn’t get a license. Calls to Kiran Patel remained unanswered. Later when Bharat Patel inquired with GPCB, he was informed that no such application had come to GPCB.

When Bharat Patel demanded a refund of the money paid to Kiran and Malini Patel for the procedure of the license, he was paid back Rs. 11.75 lakh. As Kiran and Malini didn’t pay back the rest of the amount of Rs. 31.11 lakh, a complaint is filed in Sola Police against Kiran and Malini. DeshGujarat
