Five killed, five injured as bus rams into waiting passengers in rural Kalol

Gandhinagar: Five people were killed and five others were injured Wednesday morning when a private vehicle rammed into a Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus as they were waiting at Ambikapur bus, stand near Kalol.
The deceased have been identified as Dilipsinh Vihol, 48, Parth Patel, 20, Balvantji Thakor, 45, Sharda Jagaria, 50, and Savan Darji, 22—all residents of the Kalol district.
The passengers inside the state transport bus and its driver were not injured. An FIR is being registered against the driver of the private bus, who is absconding.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed grief over the deaths and announced Rs. 4 lakh relief for the family of each victim and Rs. 50,000 relief assistance for each person injured in this incident.
