PM Modi to inaugurate Rs. 2452 crore development projects in Gujarat on Friday

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate several development projects at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar on 12th May, 2023. This includes foundation stone for projects of Urban Development Department worth ₹1654 crore, projects for Water Supply Department worth ₹734 crore, projects for Road and Transport Department worth ₹39 crore, and projects for Mines and Minerals Department worth ₹25 crore.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, who is taking ahead the legacy of  PM in Gujarat, will also be present during the program.

Inauguration and Foundation Stone for Urban Development Projects worth ₹1654 crore

Several works of the Urban Development Department such as ‘Sewage Treatment Plants’ (STPs) of 18.46 MLT and 3.18 MLT capacity at Kasba and Nagalpur in Mehsana respectively will be dedicated for the public. Along with this, a 30 MLT capacity STP and Rising Main at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium at Bapunagar, Ahmedabad will also be opened. An auditorium at Dahegam will be inaugurated as well as a Flyover Bridges near SP Ring Road and Mumadpura Crossing will also be opened for the public.

In addition to this, foundation stone for a New Water Distribution Station at Gota, Ahmedabad, and Amraiwadi as well as a 4-lane Flyover Bridge connecting Galaxy Cinema Junction, Devi Cinema Junction, Naroda Patiya Junction, and Satadhar Junction will also be laid by the PM. Re-surfacing of various Town Planning (TP) roads of AMC and other development works will be carried out during the event.

Inauguration and Foundation Stone for projects of Water Supply Department worth ₹734 crore

SIPU Augmentation Regional Water Supply Scheme Package- 1, 2 and 3 under Water Supply Department will be dedicated for the public. Along with this, foundation stone for the Chesan Bull Pipeline as well as the Benghazir and Jalundra Group Regional Water Supply Schemes will also be laid.

A river overbridge made by the Roads and Building Department, on Paldi Nawapura Saroda Dholka road at a cost of ₹39 crore will be dedicated to public as well as a drainage collection network will also be inaugurated at Naroda GIDC at a cost of ₹25 crore under the Mines and Minerals Department.
