BJP to mark 9 years of Modi govt in power in the Centre

Gandhinagar: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to celebrate the completion of 9 years of the Narendra Modi-led central government across the country from May 30th to June 22nd, 2023.

As part of the celebrations, Jan Sabhas (gatherings of people) will be organized, covering all 396 assembly constituencies. A total of 51 rallies featuring prominent leaders of the BJP have been scheduled nationwide. PM Modi will kick off these celebrations with a massive rally on May 30th, said a BJP source.

Press conferences will take place on May 29th in BJP-led states, led by respective Chief Ministers and state BJP chiefs. In states not led by the BJP, Union Ministers will conduct the press conferences. Additionally, Jan Sampark campaigns will be held nationwide during this period. BJP members will visit 10 lakh booths across the country to connect with voters.

On the death anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee which is June 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to engage in a virtual interaction with party workers at 10 lakh booths.

From June 20 to 30, door-to-door contact campaigns will be carried out, and a “missed call campaign” will also be planned.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit various states on May 30th and 31st, where rallies and public assemblies will be held. Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra are likely destinations for his visits. The final schedule will be prepared within a week.
