CM approves Rs 24.47 crore for strengthening of Palaj-Basan-Shahpur road

Gandhinagar: Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs 24.47 crore for the strengthening of the Palaj-Basan-Shahpur road, which serves as a bypass road for Gandhinagar.

The proposal for strengthening the bypass road was made to CM Patel by the Roads and Buildings department, citing the need to accommodate heavy vehicle traffic. The villages of Palaj, Basan, and IIT Gandhinagar will benefit from improved connectivity through this highway. Additionally, vehicles travelling from Sabarkantha and Aravalli districts will have an easier route to GIFT City and will be able to bypass Gandhinagar. DeshGujarat
