Gujarat BJP state executive meeting held in Ahmedabad; Various programs announced for one-month outreach campaign

Ahmedabad: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s state executive meeting was held today at Tagore Hall here.

State BJP chief CR Patil inaugurated the meeting, while BJP general secretary Pradipsinh Vaghela gave presentation on the accomplishments of the central government over the past nine years. BJP general secretary Vinod Tavde also provided guidance on the agenda. The meet concluded with an address by CM Bhupendra Patel. Additionally, discussions were held regarding the roadmap for the 2024 elections.

According to the party – for the next one month, from 30th May to 30th June, varieties of programs are to be held at various levels. 100 intellectual citizens’ gatherings are planned. Vishsistha karyakarta sammelan will be held on 23 June. Door-to-door contact programs will also be held. The party will hold business sammelans, prabuddh nagarik sammelans and assembly seat-wise sammelans of a combination of various Morchas. The party will hold 26 large public meetings covering all 26 Lok Sabha seat areas. The party will mark Shyamaprasad Mukherjee’s Balidan divas by holding a sammelan of veteran BJP leaders on 23 June in which they shall be honored. On 25 June, the party will mark the black day for democracy as on this day, then Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi announced an emergency in the nation. The party workers will listen to Mann Ki Baat radio address of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi on this day. The party workers will reach out to the people and inform them about India’s march to progress and the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government in the Centre in the last 9 years. Several party workers will become Vistarak (full-timer cadre) for this campaign.
