Shahibuag: Minister of State (MoS) Home Harsh Sanghavi made an unannounced visit to the police commissioner’s office in Shahibaug on Tuesday evening to assess the overall law and order situation and oversee preparations for the upcoming Rath Yatra.

A police official stated that they provided the Minister of State (MoS) with information regarding the necessary arrangements for the upcoming Rath Yatra, as well as the existing deployment. They mentioned that barricades have been installed at the majority of entry and exit points in the city to facilitate vehicle checks. Additionally, officers have been instructed to carry out surprise inspections at hotels, guest houses, and sensitive areas within the city.
