Gandhinagar: The upcoming edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 will feature a new addition—an exciting tech show. Preparations are currently underway for this event.
Sources in the state government told a newspaper that the show will not only showcase the initiatives of the Union government under the Digital India platform but also highlight emerging technologies such as industry 4.0, internet of things (IoT), smart infrastructure, consumer technologies, and service technologies in various sectors including finance, health, education, agriculture, environment, and tourism.
This tech show, known as the Vibrant Gujarat Global Tech Show, is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 9, 2024. The business days of the show will be on January 10 and 11, while it will be open to the public on January 12 and 13. The event will include reverse buyer-seller meetings, promotion of startups, and signing of MoUs related to the use of technology in different sectors. It will be broadcast domestically, nationally, and internationally, with participants joining virtually from across the country and overseas.
During the event, around 250 talukas will be connected on one platform, and special arrangements will be made in metro cities and state capitals. The Indian missions will also be utilized to promote the event globally, especially in partner countries of VGGS 2024. Additionally, a hackathon will be organized to provide a platform for students and entrepreneurs to solve pressing problems and connect with industry and academia.
