10th Chintan Shibir of Gujarat govt to begin tomorrow at Ektanagar

Kevadiya: The 10th Series of Chintan Shibir, a platform for the implementation of new work approaches and energy awareness within the administrative system of the Gujarat Government, is set to take place at Ektanagar-Statue of Unity. Commencing on May 19th, this flagship initiative of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi will be led by Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel. The camp will witness the participation of not only the members of the Council of Ministers but also senior civil servants, including collectors and district development officers.

The Chief Minister will inaugurate the tenth edition of the thinking camp at Tent City-2 on May 19, 2023, at 4:00 PM. The opening session will feature a discussion on stress management, the yogic way of life, and a panel discussion on the role and expectations of the public sector amidst technological changes driven by artificial intelligence. On Saturday, May 20, all dignitaries, including the Chief Minister, will engage in a morning yoga session at Arogya Vann, starting at 6:00 a.m. Immediately at 10:00 AM, experts will provide guidance on development issues.

Throughout the day, under the guidance of senior officials, various topics such as health and nutrition, urbanisation, infrastructural development, capacity building in rural areas, training for government employees and autonomous bodies, and qualitative improvement in education will be collectively discussed. In the evening, the participants will visit the Statue of Unity, followed by a captivating light and sound show and projection mapping. Additionally, at 8:30 PM, all camp participants, including the Chief Minister, will take part in the Mahaarti of ‘Maa Narmada’ at Gora Ghat.

The final day of the meditation camp will also commence with a yoga practise. At 10:00 AM, there will be presentations and discussions on various topics. At 12:30 PM, the district governance indicators prepared by the Government of India and the State Government will be launched. Following the guidance of the Chief Minister at 1:00 PM, the camp will conclude.

The 10th Chintan Shibir aims to bring together key stakeholders to exchange ideas, address developmental challenges, and foster a conducive environment for innovation and progress in Gujarat.
