Ahmedabad: A team of 65 policemen, including 8 Police Inspectors (PI) and 13 Police Sub-Inspectors (PSI), conducted a combing operation in Ahmedabad East and nabbed over 49 wanted individuals.

DCP Baldev Desai of Ahmedabad Zone 5 received information about the whereabouts of the wanted suspects who were hiding in various locations. The police carried out a covert operation and apprehended the suspects during the night. The combing operation covered areas such as Nikol, Bapunagar, Amraiwadi, Rakhiyal, Gomtipur, Khokhra, Odhav, and Ramol. A total of 13 police teams investigated the suspects in these areas between 4 am and 5:30 am, resulting in the nabbing of 14 individuals. Three days prior, the police had conducted a similar combing operation and apprehended 15 suspects. In total, Zone 5 police have filed 49 cases related to the possession of weapons. DeshGujarat
