New chariots for Bhagwan Jagannathji Rath Yatra have been created after 72 years. Raths were previously created in the year 1950. A trial of Nandighosh Rath of Bhagwan Jagannathji was conducted on Sunday. The trial was conducted by moving the rath back-forth and insides. No issues were reported in the trial. Efforts are made to create the Rath similar to the Rath of Jagannath Puri. The same colors as the Rath of Jagannath Puri are used in it. The front section of the Rath is made larger.

The preparations for Rath yatra will be started from Akhatrij. The work of the Rath will be completed before 4th June.  DeshGujarat
