Bootlegger allegedly arranged a dummy husband for a Hindu female

Navsari: A bootlegger named Asim allegedly arranged a dummy husband for a Hindu female in Khergam to protect himself from a case of love jihad.

On May 20, a 21-year-old Hindu female living in Khergam went missing. Her family discovered her affair with a 37-year-old man named Asim Nizam Shaikh, who is the father of two children. However, Asim, the bootlegger, claimed to have no relation to the woman. The family then discovered that the female had married a 22-year-old man who is accused of murder in Bilimora and was released on bail. The female’s family alleged that Asim had arranged for a 22-year-old man named Ronak to act as the dummy husband for the female in his place.

Ronak had spent two years in jail for a murder case. He also sent photos and affidavits of his marriage with the female at Junathna Mandir in Navsari. The family of the female and leaders of Hindu bodies reached the police station. The female’s mother and family alleged that Asim had arranged for a dummy husband to prevent a case of love jihad. Both the female and Ronak were brought to the police station. The police are now investigating the matter. DeshGujarat
