Gujarat to experience strong surface winds of 30-40 km/h from May 24 to May 27

Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning stating that “strong surface winds, 30-40 km/h, are very likely to prevail over the region from 24th to 27th May.”
According to the IMD bulletin, “Gradual fall in maximum temperatures by 2-4 0C during next 4-5 days very likely over the region.”
There is a low possibility of rain in the next 5 days, but local activity can occur at any time due to westerly winds. The mercury is projected to drop by 2-4 degrees Celsius in all districts, accompanied by strong wind speeds of about 30-40 km/h. Fishermen’s warning has been issued for the Gujarat coast and the northeast Arabian Sea due to the strong surface winds from 23rd to 26th, stated Manorama Mohanty, Director at the Gujarat headquarters of the Indian government’s weather department – IMD on Tuesday.
