Motera: In view of upcoming scheduled IPL-2023 cricket matches on 26th & 28th May 2023 at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, GMRC has decided to extend the timings of train services from morning 7.00 hrs to 1.30 hrs in the night on mentioned days of IPL match from Motera Stadium Metro Station to all operational stations of both lines.

In addition, to facilitate and provide hassle-free travelling to passengers, GMRC has introduced a special paper ticket to be used for return journey purpose on the day of IPL matches. Salient Features pertaining to Special Paper Tickets are listed below:

1. Fare of Special Paper Ticket will be Flat ₹ 25 per person which can be used to travel only from Motera Stadium Metro Station to any operational Metro Stations of both lines.

2. Special Paper tickets can be purchased in advance at Motera Stadium Metro Station from 12:00 hrs. onwards on the day of IPL Matches to avoid the waiting time for purchase of return travel ticket in the evening.

3. Travelling from Special paper ticket will be allowed till the extended revenue hours of GMRC on the mentioned days from Motera Stadium Metro Station only.

4. Apart from Special Paper Ticket, entry with Contactless Smart Tokens, Contactless Smart Card (GMRC Travel Card and NCMC card) will also be available as usual on regular fare.

All the Business Rules/Procedures of GMRC in this regard shall be applicable.
