Tweeples praise Rivaba’s gesture after Jadeja’s CSK won IPL

Ahmedabad: A video from the Tata IPL 2023 final match is circulating on social media, capturing the moment when Rivaba Jadeja, the wife of Ravindra Jadeja, celebrated the victory of her husband’s team, the Chennai Super Kings, by touching his feet at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

This gesture by Rivaba Jadeja, who is also Gujarat MLA from the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), is being widely admired and praised on social media for showcasing respect for Indian and Gujarati traditions and culture.

In the video, it can be seen that as Sir Jadeja approached Rivaba with open arms for a hug, she first bent down to touch his feet, expressing her appreciation towards her husband.

The Chennai Super Kings secured their fifth IPL title in an exhilarating final match against the Gujarat Titans, winning by five wickets. Ravindra Jadeja who hails from Rajkot played a pivotal role in the victory, leading his team to the winner’s podium. In the crucial last two balls, with 10 runs needed for CSK to win, Jadeja delivered with a boundary (four) and a maximum (six).

Rivaba Jadeja is not only a member of the state assembly and a prominent figure in the Gujarat BJP but also a truly empowered Rajputani. She holds a degree in mechanical engineering and is a leader in the Karni Sena. Through yesterday’s gesture, Jadeja showcased her pride as a royal and demonstrated the elegance of traditions.

Reacting to the video tweeple wrote, ” Cultural families are happy families”, while another said ” Kshatriya hai bhai Sankara to honge hi. ”

One of the user commented that, “CSK won the match…. But Jadeja’s wife won heart…”

Another tweeple said that These are the traditions of the Rajputs, some people may not understand how love and respect are deeply ingrained in them.
