8 booked for alleged attack on RSS cadres in Bharuch

Bharuch: Eight youths who allegedly attacked Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) members in Amod, Bharuch are booked by police for rioting and violence.
Krimesh Patel, a resident of Kachhiyavad in Amlipura, who is also a member of RSS had gone to a shop at Amod char-rasta with his wife, his sister’s husband, and maternal cousins to have cold soft drink. A fight had broken out between unidentified individuals near the shop. Krimesh, along with his sister’s husband and maternal cousins, intervened and asked them to stop fighting.
The accused, namely Salim Sherubava Rana, Sahejad Ranvirsinh Rana, Mubin Ranvirsinh Rana, Nadim Sadik Rana, Sahil Rana, Imran Ahmedsab, Afzal Sajid Rana, and Suhel Sarpanch, allegedly attacked Krimesh from behind, tore his T-shirt, and assaulted him. Ajay, Krimesh’s sister’s husband, tried to rescue him but was also beaten and knocked down, resulting in a knee injury.
The accused further allegedly attacked Krimesh’s maternal cousins, Karan and Jay, when they intervened. Amod police have registered a case based on Krimesh Patel’s complaint and apprehended the accused. DeshGujarat
