Vadodara: At the Sama Indoor Stadium in Vadodara, Gujarat State Football Association (GSFA) organised Gujarat State Futsal Club Championship, which started on May 24, 2023, and concluded on May 31, 2023. The finals were played between ARA Football Club and Sharpshooter Football Club in Girls’ division and ARA Football Club and Baroda Football Academy in Men’s division.

ARA Football Club became champion by defeating Sharpshooter Football Club 4-3 in the Girls’ division. ARA’s Ishita was declared Player of the Final, Sharpshooter’s Shikha Devi was declared Goalkeeper of the Tournament, and Madhu was given the Player of the Tournament award. 

Baroda Football Academy lifted the trophy by defeating ARA Football Club 3-2 in Men’s Division. Prathmesh was termed Man of the Match, and Stephen Fernandez was declared Goalkeeper of the Match, while Rudra Chhetri was announced Player of the Tournament. 

Shri Shailesh Mehta (Sotta), MLA from Dabhoi handed over the trophies to the winners. On behalf of GSFA, Vice President Shri Hanif Ginwalla, Secretary Shri Mulrajsinh Chudasama, Shri Sandeep Desai, Shri Divyarajsinh Rana, Shri Jatin Bhavsar graced the occasion and also contributed to the successful organization of the tournament.
