Rescue operation underway after 2-year-old girl falls into borewell in Jamnagar

Jamnagar: The fire department has launched a rescue operation after a two-year-old girl accidentally fell into a borewell and became trapped at a depth of 20 feet in an agricultural field.
The incident occurred around 9 a.m. today when a girl who belongs to a tribal family fell into the deep borewell while playing. Her family is working as labourers on a farm in Tamachan village, which is about 40 kilometres from Jamnagar city. Responding to the situation, the fire department personnel from Jamnagar launched a rescue operation around 11 a.m. The girl is currently stuck at a depth of approximately 20 feet, and efforts are underway to safely rescue her, as stated by Jamnagar taluka development officer NA Sarvaiya.
