Sabarmati: Jalyatra Mahotsav of Jagannath Mandir was organized at Sabarmati Riverfront Ghat, with a procession from Lord Shri Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad today ahead of the 146th Rath Yatra of Lord Shri Jagannath Ji.

Bhagwan Shree Jagannathji’s Jalyatra began with elephants-horses, dances, cultural performances, and the sound of dhol-nagara. Sabarmati river water in 108 Kalash was consecrated with Vedic chanting of 1600 mantra. After this Jalabhishek, Lord Shri Jagannath Ji will stay in Mosal at Saraspur at his maternal uncle’s house till Jeth Sud Purnima.  DeshGujarat
