Surat Police nabs one with MD Drugs worth Rs 93,000 near Ved Darvaja

Surat: The Chowk Bazar police found an accused individual named Shoheb in possession of MD drugs valued at Rs 93,000, concealed inside a cigarette box near Ved Darwaja.
While conducting patrolling and vehicle checks at Ved Darvaja, a team of Chowk Bazar police observed a suspicious youth walking beneath the Ved Darwaja bridge. They instructed him to halt, but he attempted to flee upon hearing the command. However, the police successfully caught him. During the subsequent investigation, the police discovered 9.32 grams of mephedrone drugs worth Rs 93,200 concealed inside a cigarette box. In addition to the drugs, the police also seized other items worth Rs 1,28,200, including his iPhone. The accused youth identified himself as Shoheb, also known as Shoheb Wanar Kamar Khan, aged 22. He resides near Lalmiya Masjid, Kakra Mohalla, Rampura, Lalgate. Although primarily from Thana-Lalovali, Fatehpur district, UP, he confessed to initially procuring 30 grams of drugs from Mumbai. He sold 20 grams in Lalgate and Chowkbazar and also retailed it in the Limbayat area. The remaining 10 grams were intended for further distribution, as per his confession. DeshGujarat
