Gandhinagar: Gujarat is set to receive some respite from the frequent spells of scattered unseasonal rains that have been occurring for days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dry weather until June 8th across Gujarat. Furthermore, the IMD has forecasted light to moderate rain in parts of Gujarat on June 9th and 10th.

According to the IMD bulletin, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region namely Surat, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli and Bhavnagar,” on June 9th.

On June 10th, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region namely Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli and Bhavnagar.”
