NIRF 2023 Rankings: IIMA, GNLU, CEPT in top 10 in respective categories

Gandhinagar: The Ministry of Education of the Union government released the 2023 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) on Monday. It is a system that evaluates educational institutions based on different criteria.
This year brought positive outcomes for institutions in Gujarat, as many of them improved their rankings compared to 2022. and three top institutes in the state managed to secure a position in the Top 10 rankings within their respective categories. IIM Ahmedabad (IIM-A) maintained its first-place position in the management category, while Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) advanced from eighth place last year to seventh place this year. CEPT University attained the seventh rank in the architecture category.
No new institutions from Gujarat made it to the rankings. Notably, IIT Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn) made significant progress, climbing 13 positions overall from 37th to 24th place. In the research category, the institute improved by three spots from 34 to 31, and in engineering, it moved up from 23 to 18. DeshGujarat
