Bharuch: President of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat, CR Patil met with Faisal Patel, the son of late Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Ahmed Patel. Faisal Patel has uploaded a photograph of his meeting with CR Patil on social media with the caption “Interacting with Shri CR Paatil ji since last few years.”

Faisal along with his sister Mumtaz run several social activities, particularly in the domain of healthcare in late Ahmed Patel’s native Bharuch district. None of them have declared any plan to join active politics yet.

In April 2022, Faisal Patel had tweeted hinted his displeasure with Congress party and said he has kept his options open. “Tired of waiting around. No encouragement from the top brass. Keeping my options open,” Faisal Patel, son of Ahmed Patel had tweeted. The tweet was later removed.
