PM Modi likely to dedicate Hirasar airport of Rajkot on July 15

Rajkot: PM Narendra Modi is likely to dedicate Hirasar airport in Rajkot on 15th July 2023. There’s no official confirmation or announcement regarding this yet.
A test flight with a small aircraft is scheduled for June 14. Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Minister of Civil Aviation, mentioned in a tweet that the terminal of Hirasar airport covers an area of 23,000 square meters. The airport, which has a runway measuring 3040 meters in length, has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1405 crore.

The airport features 14 parking stands, 7 boarding gates (including 3 aero bridges and 3 conveyor belts), and 8 immigration counters (including 2 customs counters). The foundation stone for the airport was laid by PM Modi in 2017. DeshGujarat
