Two students from each district of India to visit PM Modi’s childhood school in Vadnagar

Vadnagar: The Government of India under the title of the Prerna program, plans to organize a study tour for two students from each district to visit Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s childhood school in Vadnagar, Gujarat.

Over the next year, a total of 750 districts will participate in this seven-day study tour, which will take place at PM Modi’s birthplace in Vadnagar, a source told ANI.

The selection process for the students is still underway, and the trips are expected to commence in October. The government will fund the expenses. Up to 30 students will be taken to Vadnagar per trip, promoting cultural exchange and supporting PM Modi’s vision of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. Additionally, during their stay, students will have the opportunity to share regional recipes and engage in a food exchange program.

The childhood school of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been preserved by the Archaeological Survey of India since 2018. As part of a study tour, children visiting the school will learn about India’s valour and bravery. The school has eight classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology and devices. Children will be exposed to the stories of Param Vir Chakra awardee soldiers and the lives of prominent figures like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose through holograms and speeches by former Prime Ministers.

According to the sources, during his nine-year tenure as Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has elevated India’s standing on the global stage, inspiring many with his remarkable journey from a humble background. This is why the program at the school is referred to as “Prerna,” meaning inspiration, as it was where Modi received his initial formal education.
