Man issues death threats to Hindu youth over sticker on bike in Surat

Surat: A person has been accused of issuing death threats to a 22-year-old Hindu youth here in the city after the youth allegedly put up ‘Kattar Hindu’ (staunch Hindu) sticker on his bike.

The incident involves Manish Prahladbhai Chaudhari, a 22-year-old resident of Rameshwar Nagar in Udhna, who works in the parcel service industry. While delivering parcels to customers in the Laskana area, he approached Valak Patiya Faruqi Masjid to deliver a package to a customer named Alvira. Manish called the contact number provided on the parcel and a female answered the call, instructing him to meet her near the masjid to collect the parcel. The female arrived and received the package, accompanied by her father who intended to make the payment.

Upon noticing the sticker ‘Kattar Hindu’ on Manish’s bike, the father of Alvira confronted Manish and allegedly used abusive language. In response, Manish contacted his manager, who arrived and confronted Alvira’s father. It is alleged that during the confrontation, Alvira’s father issued a death threat to Manish, warning him not to come near his home again. Subsequently, a complaint was lodged with the Sarthana police. DeshGujarat
