Somnath: As per the instruction and guidance from the government, all the temples under Shri Somnath Trust including Somnath Mandir, Bhalka Tirth Mandir, Shri Ram Mandir, Shri Ahilyabai Mandir, Shri Bhidiya Mandir and Shri Gita Mandir will reopen for pilgrims from June 8.
Shri Somnath temple will remain open for limited hours during 7.30 to 11.30 am and 12.30 to 6.30 pm. No pilgrim will be allowed inside the temples during Aarti time in order to prevent crowding.

Ahmedabad: Mahendra Jha, trustee of Jagannathji Temple in Ahmedabad, today told media persons that there would be no elaborate Rath Yatra 2020 this June 23 on the occasion of Ashadhi Bij.

Mount Abu: Brahma Kumaris chief Rajyogini Dadi Janki passed away in a private hospital here on Friday.
She was 104.

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today made appeal to citizens to mix five things in Holi bonfires in order to keep the air pure and protect the atmosphere against germs.
Rupani asked people to add Gugal, Cow ghee, dry Neem leaves, Sarsav and Kapur to Holi bonfire that are lit every year at numerous places on the evening of Holi festival.
Rupani said, adding Panchgavya elements to Holi bonfire would do fumigation against diseases.
