Mount Abu: Brahma Kumaris chief Rajyogini Dadi Janki passed away in a private hospital here on Friday.
She was 104.
'With loving thoughts, we wish to inform you that our beloved Dadi Janki, Spiritual Head of the Brahma Kumaris, passed on from this physical life, at 2am, India time on Friday 27th,' her twitter handle read.
Her body will be kept at Shantivan at 1300 hrs for people to pay last respects and last rites will be performed at 1530 hrs.

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today made appeal to citizens to mix five things in Holi bonfires in order to keep the air pure and protect the atmosphere against germs.
Rupani asked people to add Gugal, Cow ghee, dry Neem leaves, Sarsav and Kapur to Holi bonfire that are lit every year at numerous places on the evening of Holi festival.
Rupani said, adding Panchgavya elements to Holi bonfire would do fumigation against diseases.

Gandhinagar: Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Sanastha (BAPS) has released a video featuring Mandir Aadharshila Vidhi for Hindu temple being constructed at Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirate. Concrete pouring ceremony was performed in presence of Brahama Vihari Swami, Senior Saint, BAPS, Pavan Kapoor Indian Ambassador among others on February 13. Over 3,000 craftsmen are working in India, carving icons and statues with 5000 tons of Italian Carrara Marble for this temple.Read More

Vadodara: As Union Home minister Amit Shah had to cancel his Gujarat visit for undisclosed reasons, the revamped Sursagar pond was inaugurated by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani who was anyway going to attend the inauguration function with Amit Shah.
Rupani inaugurated the pond revamped, repaired and beautified by Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) at a cost of Rs. 35 crore.

Ahmedabad: Vishwa Umiya Foundation today announced Shilanyas of Gujarat's tallest temple of Goddess Umiya on 28-29 February this year at Jaspur-Ahmedabad based Umiya Dham.
A 431-ft (131 meter) high temple is designed by German and Indian architects jointly. Its view gallery will be located at 270 ft (82 meter) height from where a glimpse of Ahmedabad city will be visible.

Vadodara: Pavagadh ropeway which takes pilgrims from foothills of Pavagadh hill to Mahakali temple atop the hill will remain closed during 24 to 29 February due to maintenance. After a week long break for maintanance, the ropeway will again function with effect from March 1.
