New Delhi: India and Pakistan today exchanged, through diplomatic channels simultaneously at New Delhi and Islamabad, the lists of civilian prisoners and fishermen in their custody. This is in keeping with the provisions of the 2008 Agreement under which such lists are exchanged every year on 1st January and 1st July.

Dubai: An Indian couple from Gujarat was found murdered and their teenage daughter brutally injured by a Pakistani national here last week during a break-in and robbery bid. Dubai Police have arrested a Pakistani man.
The couple -- Hiren Adhiya and Vidhi Adhiya, both in their 40s were killed on June 18. A Pakistani, accused of their murder was arrested in less than 24 hours.

Porbandar: 200 fishermen from Gujarat, stuck in Iran due to Covid-19 situation, today boarded INS Shardul of Indian Navy at Shahid Bahonar port in Bandar Abbas, to return to Porbandar as part of Operation Samudra Setu, launched by the Govt of India under third phase of Vande Bharat Mission. Porbandar: Founder of Rizwan Adatia Foundation and philanthropist, Rizwan Adatia is latest victim of abduction crimes in Maputo province of African nation Mozambique.
Adatia's car has been found in abandoned condition near Matola. It is believed his car was stopped by abductors when he was on way from market to home at around 11.00 pm and he was forcibly taken away. Adatia was alone in his car and he was self driving it, due to social distancing amid coronavirus crisis, it is learnt.
