Surat: Platform number 2 and 3 at Udhna railway station in Surat were closed on December 21st for a 90-day period up to March 21st for construction works related to a redevelopment project. Ideally, the platforms should reopen to the public after March 21st, but looking at the slow progress of work, it's impossible to throw open the platforms on March 21st.
