Bhuj: A plane took off from Bhuj to enact the first commercial flight of JRD Tata today. It will land at Juhu airport in Mumbai at 4 pm today. This is an attempt to replicate the first-ever flight from Karachi to Mumbai undertaken by the industrialist JRD Tata before 89 years on 15th October 1932. The flight today has taken off from Bhuj instead of Karachi which is now in Pakistan. Ahmedabad: The BRTS bus service from SG Highway to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport will resume after 3 years. The decision was made in a meeting between Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) officials and Airport Authority. The buses will arrive at a frequency of every 30 minutes from 6 am to 11 pm. Ahmedabad: The runway at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport will remain closed from 9 am to 6 pm between 3rd January and 31st May, 2022 due to maintenance work. A 3.6-km long runway will be inoperative for the flights from 9 am to 6 pm except public holidays and Sundays in this period.
