New Delhi: The operations of domestic schedule commercial airlines shall cease operations with effective from the mid night 23.59 IST hours on 24/3/2020.
Airlines have to plan operations so as to land at their destination before 2359 hours on 24/3/2020
The restrictions shall not apply to solely cargo carrying flights.
These details were shared by Ministry of Civil Aviation today.

Ahmedabad: On March 21st, during the afternoon, a young male namely Abhimanyu Acharya through his twitter handle @Abhimanyu2409 tweeted that he arrived in a flight from Toronto in Canada to SVPI airport in Ahmedabad and he underwent no thermal check and he was just asked to fill a form and told to stay home-quarantined. New Delhi: Important decisions were taken at the 2nd meeting of GoM on COVID19 today.

Gandhinagar: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed here today to set up a flying car manufacturing plant in Gujarat by Netherlands based private company PAL-V. The company intends to start commercial production in mid next year (2021).

New Delhi: Air passengers in India can access internet through Wii-Fi on board, as the Civil Aviation Ministry has lifted the restrictions on flyers.
"The Pilot-in-Command may permit the access of internet services by passengers on board an aircraft in flight, through Wii-Fi on board, when laptop, smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, e-reader or a point of sale device is used in flight mode or airplane mode," a notification by Aviation Ministry, dated February 21, read.
