Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today in a note shared with media claimed that among total daily admissions of covid patients taking place in various hospitals across Ahmedabad only 17 to 18 per cent admissions take place through 108 ambulance service, while the other admissions take place directly.

Sabarmati: The city of Ahmedabad has at present 20 covid ambulances functioning under the '108' emergency service. Gandhinagar: In pictures - 30 new '108' emergency services ambulances launched today in a function at Gandhinagar. There are 587 '108' ambulances active in the State. 261 are to be replaced and 63 are to be added. The Govt will purchase 324 new ambulances this year. Total number will go up at 650.

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government today launched two boat ambulances as part of its '108' emergency services network.
According to a note issued by government, both boats will offer services for 24 hours. The boats will have one captain, three assisting staff and one trained emergency medical technician.
Gujarat has 1600 km long coastline with presence of 3,27,706 fishermen. 1,40,327 of them are active fishermen using 35,150 boats.
