Ambaji: Traveling through 19 km distance in GSRTC bus between Danta and Ambaji in North Gujarat would earlier take half an hour time, but now it takes only 15-20 minutes thanks to four-laning and corrective improvements in this highway road by the State government recently. Four laning and corrective measures have resulted into saving of thousands of liters of diesel for vehicles daily. In addition to this, the highway is now less accident-prone.

Ambaji: Bhadarvi Punam Melo in pilgrim town Ambaji will not take place this year due to Coronavirus pandemic, said district collector Sandip Sangle who is also Chairman of Ambaji Devasthan Trust. He said, darshan of Ambaji Mandir and Gabbar will not be possible for public during 24 August to 4 September. Both mandirs will remain closed for this period of 12 days for visitors.

Gandhinagar: Gujarat’s top pilgrimage centre Ambaji has been included under the Central Government’s Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) Scheme of the Union Ministry of Tourism.

Ambaji: Danta - Ambaji highway four lane conversion work is underway. While initially the road was declared closed for traffic for the month of December, now the closure has been extended to entire month of January, as per a new notification issued by district collector of Banaskantha.
