APM Terminals Pipavav to set up New Liquid Berth at an investment of US $ 90 million

Pipavav: APM Terminal Pipavav, will set up a new liquid berth at the Port at an investment of around US $ 90 million. Currently, the port has the capacity to handle 2 MMT of liquid bulk. With the new berth, the liquid bulk handling capacity of the port will increase to 5.2 MMT. The setting up of the new berth will be subject to necessary regulatory and other approvals. Pipavav, India: The first double stack train was flagged off from ICD Gurugram (Garhi Harsaru) to APM Terminals Pipavav by Gateway Rail Freight Ltd. (a subsidiary of Gateway Distriparks Ltd.) and Ocean Network Express (ONE), which will provide assured connection to exporters. The double stack train transported 180 TEUs in a single journey.
