Ahmedabad: A 76-km long Sardar Patel ring road in Ahmedabad will be converted from existing 4-lane to 6-lane at a cost of Rs. 200 crore. This decision was taken in board meeting of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority(AUDA) on Wednesday. On an average, per month 4 lakh vehicles use this road. As per an estimate there shall be 25% addition to this once the ring road is converted to six-lane.
