Dahej: National Green Tribunal has directed chemical company Yashashvi Rasayan Pvt Ltd to deposit Rs. 25 crore for June 3 incident of blast at company's Dahej plant in which 10 persons were dead and over 75 were injured.
The fire had spread rapidly and also caused damage to the second plant in the factory. The mishap left ten workers dead (6 on the spot & 4 at the time of hospital treatment) and injured 78. Out of 78, 34 have been discharged, 44 are stable.

Dahej: At least 7 people died and 40 injured today when a blast occurred in the reactor of a chemical factory in Dahej industrial area of Bharuch district in Gujarat, police said.
Superintendent of Police Rajendrasinh Chudasama said that the blast occurred in the reactor of Yashashvi Chemicals Private Ltd situated in the GIDC area of Dahej, a big chemical units hub.

Ahmedabad: One person died and another injured when the roof of the under construction lab of a chemical factory in Vatva GIDC area in Ahmedabad suddenly collapsed today.

Bharuch: Medical condition of 8 labourers who suffered burn injuries due to blast during solvent wash procedure in Dahej based Meghmani Organics plant is critical. Each of 8 labourers have suffered 80% burn injury. Local factory inspector has ordered closure of plant following the incident. According to factory inspector, the company will face court case for this criminal lethargy. Two labourers who died in this incident were cremated.
