Sabarmati: A massive fire broke out in a chemical factory that manufactures solvent-based adhesives in Santej area of city today morning. The fire brigade received a call at around 2 am. None is hurt in this incident of fire which also involved blasts in chemical barrels. 18 fire tenders rushed to control the fire along with a remote-controlled fire robot. Dahej: National Green Tribunal has directed chemical company Yashashvi Rasayan Pvt Ltd to deposit Rs. 25 crore for June 3 incident of blast at company's Dahej plant in which 10 persons were dead and over 75 were injured. The fire had spread rapidly and also caused damage to the second plant in the factory. The mishap left ten workers dead (6 on the spot & 4 at the time of hospital treatment) and injured 78.
